I'm sorry to mention it. I've had Christmas markets booked in since August. I'll be selling my books and chatting about yoga in and around Hemel Hempstead. If you can't get to one of these, please feel free to order books via my website; a book signed and dedicated by the author is a lovely present!
Meanwhile, I'm still busy with my usual yoga classes. I keep putting myself out there and I know that yoga is powerful and amazing, but I don't always get feedback (other than fabulous people who keep coming back for more.) So look at what some lovely people have said about my work this week!
Gorgeous Feedback
"We are using your relaxation books in our reflective supervision sessions for grounding... we're also talking about promoting them to our foster carers." - Social Worker
JUST WOW - I wrote my books for children, I knew that they were being used in adult yoga classes, but to hear that they are being used for supervision sessions for social workers is fabulous!
"I love the Golden Thread breath that we did last week, I've been using it this week when I've been stuck in traffic and I love the idea of my stress spinning away from me." - Pregnancy Yoga class member.
Golden Thread breath is from Uma Tinsmore-Duli's book Mother's Breath and can be used for pain relief, but of course any practice that slows your breathing down will help you to feel calm! You can find out more here: The Golden Thread Breath for pain management - Mother's Breath- Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (youtube.com)
"I've been coming to your class for a year now, and I can do things that I couldn't do before." - General Hatha Yoga class member.
Hooray, hooray, hooray! A regular yoga practice always brings benefits - maybe not the ones you were looking for, but you will start to notice a change!

Thank you for reading this far.
My very first public yoga class took place on Monday 5th January 2015 - 5/1/15
I was terrified and nearly phoned everyone to tell them that there had been a terrible mistake and it would be cancelled.
I'm so grateful that I'm still teaching, that I was eventually able to leave my day job to focus entirely on yoga teaching, and that my fabulous class members still show up and support me every week. Some of the people who attended my very first class are still with me now!
I am hoping to do a Thing for my little business's tenth birthday, watch this space!
