Yoga and Book events this summer!

I've got a busy summer ahead! I've already taken part in the British Wheel of Yoga Sangha and Herts Book Fest in the last month, and I'm now working on the next couple of months.

In the meantime, I'm still running my adult, pregnancy, postnatal and children's yoga classes. Below is a list of events where I'll be specifically promoting my children's relaxation and yoga books.

Just typing this blog post has made me feel SO EXCITED!

The Village Pop-Up are running their first ever Little People's Market on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June, at the Eric Moorcombe Centre in Harpenden. I'll be there on the Saturday, running family yoga at 10.45. There are is an impressive array of small businesses taking part including other yoga teachers. It's for anyone who is expecting or has little ones up to primary school age and is £5 entry for adults. Have a look at their website at www.villagepopup.co.uk

Berkofest Book Festival will be taking place in June in Berkhamsted. I'll be running children's yoga sessions and signing books in the amazing Rectory Lane Cemetery on Saturday 18th June. There will be other amazing events going on too. Website will be updated nearer the time!

Organised by the frankly fantastical Books on the Hill bookshop, I'll be running two family yoga sessions on Saturday 9th July. You can book your places here and also find out about the other writers and events that will be running during the two weeks of the festival.

This fabulous outdoor playgroup runs a weekly storytelling session near the Bridgewater Monument on the Ashridge estate. Look out for the bunting hanging from trees in a clearing in the forest. I have been running yoga sessions for them for a few years now, and it's always a magical experience. Booking for each event opens the week before and covers tea and cake, as well as a storytelling session and activities.

This is an annual book auction to raise money for Children in Need. Last year nearly £25,000 was raised, and the auction included signed books by Adam Kay and Bob Mortimer. I'm honoured to be helping to raise money alongside so many legends! Bidding is not yet open, have a look around and see how many books are being donated - and the list just keeps on growing! I'm lot 96 by the way.
